Life is created by Cells. The growth of an organism depends on duplication and the regular division of these cells. When the cellular division becomes irregular, it results in rampant cellular growth, which is known as cancer. This collection consists of some sculptures, tumors born out of my imagination which are made of ceramics – a highly malleable material which easily finds its form in one’s hand to turn  into a delicate object. Yet, leave this object in the fire of a kiln for a little while, and it will transform into something grotesque. It is not the hand of the artist that makes the clay so fragile, but the hidden talon of time that clasps the anatomy of the work – it is changar.*
